The Meeting includes the world's largest and most comprehensive

Sunday Evening Reception
The traditional opening event will feature unlimited rides and a
buffet dinner at Knott's Camp Snoopy in the Mall of America. Camp
Snoopy is the largest indoor amusement park in the U.S. with 23
rides and attractions on 7 acres. Admission is included with all
paid registrations. Additional tickets are available.
Wednesday Evening Dinner Cruise
Enjoy a Mississippi River cruise aboard the sidewheeler Anson
Northrup. Tickets are $35; shuttle, dinner and entertainment are
included. Sign up on the Advance Registration Form.
Ninth Annual Golf Tournament
The traditional Golf Tournament will be held Sunday morning.

University of Minnesota Gabbert Raptor Center
The Raptor Center provides medical treatment, rehabilitation,
research, and conservation of birds of prey. Join the tour on
Sunday, August 11 at 12:30 - 2:30 p.m.. Sign up on the Advance
Registration Form; cost is $8.
Mayo Clinic Tour
A day trip to the world famous Mayo Clinic in Rochester,
Minnesota, has been scheduled for Friday, August 16 (the day
after the Meeting ends), from 7:30 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.
Pre-registration on the Advance Registration Form is required;
cost is $25.
Late Breaking Poster Session Information
To submit a late breaking poster you must fill out a Data Form and prepare an
Abstract as described in the Call for
Papers ( or
contact the Microscopy & Microanalysis office). Mail the completed Data
Form and Abstract to:

After your submission is reviewed, you will be contacted about
acceptance and with instructions on when and where to display
your poster. The deadline for receipt is: FRIDAY JULY 26, 1996.
Contributors are encouraged to submit Late Breaking Poster
Abstracts early to allow time for peer review.
Although Abstracts accepted as Late Breaking Posters cannot be
published in the Proceedings, they will be listed on a special
Meeting handout and in daily Meeting newsletters.
