Before continuing you should understand your responsibilities as a Microscopy.ORG System user.

Specifically they are:

1.) 1.) Actively encourage and promote the free exchange and discussion of information, ideas and opinions, except when the content would compromise the national security of the United States (or any other country for that matter) ; violate proprietary rights, personal privacy, or applicable state/federal/local laws and regulations affecting telecommunications; or constitute a crime or libel to the ListServer, it's operator, users, any individual or organization.

2.) Use your REAL NAME and fully disclose any personal, financial, or commercial interest when evaluating any specific product or service, or contribution.

3.) Do not use this system for delivery of personal mail, messages or items of a similiar nature (i.e no posting of resume's etc....) If you are not sure then it probably does not belong here! 4.) Adhere to these rules and notify the Zaluzec@Microscopy.Com immediately when you discover any violations.

MSA offers hyperlinks at its web site as a service to its members and to other web site visitors. MSA is willing to offer you or your organization/company ("linked-site owner") a hyperlink at the MSA web site, subject to the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.

1. Limitation of Liability - MSA's liability for any claims arising from or in any way related to MSA placing a hyperlink at its web site shall be limited to the amount, if any, paid by the linked-site owner to MSA for placement of the hyperlink out of which or related to which the claims arose. In no event shall MSA be liable to the linked-site owner for any consequential damages, lost profits, or any other remote claims for damages.

2. Indemnification - It is understood that, in consideration of placement of the hyperlink, the linked-site owner will indemnify, defend and hold harmless MSA, its directors, officers, employees, agents and members, from and against any claims or suits for libel, violation of right of privacy, plagiarism, copyright infringement and any other claims or suits based on the contents or subject matter of such linked-site. 2.2 Any breach by the linked-site owner of any provision of this Agreement or any other contract;

2.3 Matters involving or relating to the linked-site arising in tort and alleging injury to person or persons, whether libel, slander, defamation or other dignitary torts; or

2.4 Matters involving content (including text, illustrations, representations, sketches, maps, trademarks, labels or other copyrighted matter) or the subject matter of the linked-site, or the unauthorized use of any person's name or likeness arising from its appearance at the linked-site, including but not limited to claims of violation of rights of privacy or plagiarism.

3. Warranties - User warrants as follows:

3.1 It has the right to display all material that has been incorporated at its site;

3.2 None of the content of its site infringes on the property rights of others including but not limited to rights in trademarks, copyrights, and patents;

3.3 The linked-site does not contain any obscene, vulgar, or defamatory material;

3.4 The linked does not contain any material that violates the MSA's code of ethics or standards of professional conduct; and

4. Termination - MSA reserves the right to reject or discontinue any hyperlink placement at any time. The basis for rejecting or discontinuing a hyperlink placement includes but is not limited to violation of MSA's standards. This right shall not be deemed to have been waived by continuation of a hyperlink placement for any period of time.

Use of an MSA hyperlink acknowledges your acceptance with the terms and conditions of this agreemant.

Return Policy

Sales of items other than membership and conference registration are final after 30 days. Refunds of membership and conference registration fees will be made only if requested in writing and in the appropriate timeframe (see current application and/or registration form).

Delivery Method

Items that are ineligible for e-mail delivery are shipped via U.S. Mail within two weeks of the order date. Some items will be shipped sooner via overnight mail if appropriate.
